Building Community Wellbeing Through Partnership

Collaboration | Motherwell

Scottish Asian Counselling Services attended the Lanarkshire Wellbeing Event at Motherwell Police Office, an event that brought together organisations working across sectors to support community wellbeing and positive change.Collaboration is central to the work we do at SACS and the event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues from the Scottish Police Muslim Association. Their work to promote inclusion, cultural understanding and wellbeing within Police Scotland closely aligns with our own commitment to culturally responsive mental health support.Conversations at the event highlighted the importance of cross-sector partnership in addressing complex community needs. By working together, organisations can strengthen trust, improve understanding and ensure support is more accessible and attuned to the communities they serve. We look forward to continuing this collaborative work and contributing to stronger, more compassionate communities through shared dialogue and partnership.
