Community Outreach
Community outreach is central to SACS’s mission. We engage directly with communities through events, campaigns and discussions that encourage open conversations about mental health and challenge stigma.
This work helps build trust, raise awareness of support options, and reach individuals who may otherwise feel excluded from mainstream services. Outreach activities are delivered in partnership with local organisations, faith groups and community leaders.

FAQs
Can my organisation refer someone to SACS?
Yes. We welcome referrals from organisations and community services. We also accept self-referrals.
What kinds of clients do you support?
We support individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties, particularly those who feel mainstream services haven’t felt culturally safe or accessible.
Are SACS services suitable for South Asian communities specifically?
Yes. SACS exists to bridge the gap in culturally responsive mental health support, and our approach is shaped by South Asian lived experience, values and community realities.
Can you support people who are nervous about confidentiality?
Yes. We understand that fear of being judged or “found out” can be a major barrier. We take confidentiality seriously and explain this clearly so clients feel safe and in control.
Can SACS deliver workshops or outreach to our community?
Yes. We run community outreach events, awareness sessions and psychoeducation workshops designed to reduce stigma and open conversations.
Do you work with faith and community partners?
Yes. We collaborate with community, health and faith partners to support inclusive, culturally competent care and increase access to support.
How do we partner with SACS?
You can contact us to discuss what you’re looking for. We often begin with a short online meeting to understand your goals and recommend the most suitable next step.
